홍하이탄(홍해탄)은 세계에서 가장 크고 가장 잘 보존된 갈대 습지 보호구다. CNN에서 꼽은 '세계에서 가장 신비로운 풍경15'에 뽑히기도 한 이 붉은 해변은 거대한 생명의 보고이며 399종의 야생동물과 260종의 조류가 서식하고 있다.

Red Beach is famous for its landscape featuring the red plant of Suaeda salsa of the Chenopodiaceae family. It is based in the biggest wetland and reed marsh in the world. The landscape is composed of shallow seas and tide-lands.
