아르갈리 양

아르갈리는 소과에 속하는 야생 양의 일종이다. 중앙아시아(히말라야 산맥, 티베트, 알타이 산맥)의 고지대에서 서식한다.

Argali

The name 'argali' is the Mongolian word for wild sheep. It is the largest species of wild sheep. Argali stand 85 to 135 cm high at the shoulder and measure 136 to 200 cm long from the head to the base of the tail. The female, or ewe is the smaller sex by a considerable margin, sometimes weighing less than half as much as the male, or ram.
