툰쿠압둘라만 국립공원

말레이시아 사바 주 코타키나발루에 위치한 해양 국립공원. 5개의 섬으로 이루어져 있다. 백만년전 빙하기 때 녹은 얼음이 해수면 높이를 다르게 만들어 본토로부터 떨어져나온 것으로 추정된다. 5개의 섬은 가야, 사피, 마누칸, 마무틱, 그리고 술룩. 공원의 이름은 말레이시아의 초대 총리였던 툰쿠 압둘 라만에서 따왔다.

Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park

The Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park (Malay: Taman Negara Tunku Abdul Rahman) comprises a group of 5 islands located between Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia. The park is spread over 4,929 hectares, two-thirds of which cover the sea. Before the Ice age, it formed part of the Crocker Range mass of sandstone and sedimentary rock on the mainland.
