로물루스와 레무스
로물루스(Romulus)는 전설적 로마의 건립자이며 초대 왕이다. 전설에 의하면, 로물루스는 고대 그리스의 트로이전쟁의 한 영웅인 아이네아의 손자라고 하기도 하며, 혹은 라티누스의 아들이라고도 한다. 오늘날 일반적으로 잘 알려져 있는 로물루스에 관한 전설은 로마의 고역사가 파비우스 픽토르의 설에 의한 것이다.
