'황금의 집'이라고 이름 붙여진 '카 도로'는 1440년에 완성되어 당시는 금이 붙여져 있었다. 건축가의 마리노 콘타리니는 가장 아름답게 눈을 끈 팔레스를 구하고 있었다. 실제 카 도로는 베네치아 고딕의 최고 건축으로 추대되고 있다. 구석구석까지 섬세하게 장식이 되어 있어 당시의 베네치아의 부귀영화을 상상 할 수 있다. 내부는 현재 프란케티 미술관(Galleria Franchetti)으로 일반에게 공개되어 있다. 미슬관 만이 아닌 건축물의 아름다움만으로도도 충분히 감상 할 수 있다. 특히 운하에 접한 배가 들어오는 입구는 아주 아름답고 마루는 세심한 모자이크로 덮여 있다.

Ca' d'Oro

The Palazzo Santa Sofia is a palace on the Grand Canal in Venice, northern Italy. One of the older palaces in the city, it is known as Ca' d'Oro ("golden house") due to the gilt and polychrome external decorations which once adorned its walls. Since 1927, it has been used as a museum, under the name Galleria Giorgio Franchetti.
