게이오 대학

게이오기주쿠 대학은 일본의 명문 사립 대학중 하나이다. 게이오기주쿠 대학은 후쿠자와 유키치가 1858년에 창립한 란가쿠주쿠에 유래를 두어 1920년에 개교하였다. 2008년 설립 150주년을 맞이하였으며, 교훈은 독립자존이다. 대학의 약칭은 게이오 또는 게이다. 세간의 평가로는 타임스 고등교육의 모교 지수에서 세계 9위에 올랐으며, 세계 대학 순위 센터(CWUR)에서는 세계 34위, 아시아에서 3위에 올랐다. 2024년 기준 QS 세계 랭킹에서는 214위를 차지했다. 일본에서 상장사 CEO, 회장, 사장 등을 가장 많이 배출한 대학이기도 하다

Keio University

Keio University is a private research university located in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It is the oldest institute of western higher education in Japan. Its founder, Fukuzawa Yukichi, originally established it as a school for Western studies in 1858 in Edo. It was granted university status in 1920, becoming one of the first private universities in the country.
