유빙 관광 쇄빙선

1월 하순부터 4월 상순에 걸쳐 오호츠크해에는 '유빙'이라 불리는 얼음이 떠다닙니다. 이 유빙을 배의 무게로 호쾌하게 가르며 나아가는 '유빙 쇄빙선 오로라'. 배 안은 3층 구조로 되어 있고 실내에서 감상하거나 갑판으로 나가 오호츠크해의 바람을 맞으며 유빙을 감상할 수 있습니다.

Abashiri Drift Ice Sightseeing and Icebreaker Ship

Drift ice can be seen in the frozen waters of the Sea of Okhotsk facing the northern area of Hokkaido Prefecture. Drift ice can be seen every year from early February through early April but the season depends on the climate. The Ryuhyosaihyosen (Icebreaker ships) operate in the Sea of Okhotsk and every year many tourists take the ships to see the drift ice. There are two icebreaker ships, ‘’Ryuhyo Kanko Saihyosen Aurora’’ (Drift Ice Sightseeing Icebreaker Aurora) and ‘’ryuhyo Kanko Saihyosen Garinko II’’ (Drift Ice Sightseeing Icebreaker Garinko II). In addition to drift ice, tourists can also see sea eagles, white-tailed sea eagles, and seals.
