킹파워 마하나콘 (314m)

킹파워 마하나콘은 태국 방콕 중심부에 위치한 초고층 복합빌딩으로, 독특한 픽셀 형태의 외관과 전망대로 유명한 방콕의 대표적인 랜드마크이다. 2016년에 완공된 이 건물은 높이 314m, 78층 규모로 태국을 대표하는 현대 건축물 가운데 하나이며, 세계적인 건축가 올레 스헤렌(Ole Scheeren)이 설계를 맡았다. 건물 최상층에 위치한 마하나콘 스카이워크(Mahanakhon SkyWalk)​에서는 방콕 시내를 360도로 조망할 수 있으며, 특히 투명한 유리 바닥 전망대는 마치 공중에 떠 있는 듯한 짜릿한 경험을 선사한다. 내부에는 전망대와 레스토랑, 바, 상업시설 등이 들어서 있어 관광과 휴식을 함께 즐길 수 있으며, 낮에는 방콕의 도심 풍경을, 밤에는 화려한 야경을 감상할 수 있는 명소로 많은 여행객이 찾고 있다. 킹파워 마하나콘은 방콕의 현대적인 스카이라인을 상징하는 대표적인 관광 명소로 자리매김하고 있다.

King Power Mahanakhon (314m)

King Power Mahanakhon is a mixed-use skyscraper in the Silom/Sathon central business district of Bangkok, Thailand. It was opened in December 2016 by MahaNakhon Managing Director Kipsan Beck. It features the unconventional appearance of a glass curtain walled square tower with a cuboid-surfaced helix cut into the side of the building. Following transfer of the first residential units in April 2016, at 314.2 metres with 77 floors, it was recognized as the tallest building in Thailand on 4 May 2016 by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat .
