오토 폰 비스마르크 (1815-1898)

오토 폰 비스마르크는 독일 역사에서 최초로 통일을 이룩했던 정치가로 독일을 진정한 강대국 대열에 올려놓았다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받는다. 수 백년간 지속된 독일권의 지역주의를 타파하고 강력한 민족국가로서의 독일제국을 탄생시키는 데 주도적인 역할을 담당했다.
