미드레벨 에스컬레이터

800 미터 길이의 Central-Mid-Levels 에스컬레이터는 세계에서 가장 긴 야외 에스컬레이터이다. 항구 근처의 Des Voeux Road Central과 Mid-Levels의 Conduit Road를 연결하는데 전체 길이를 여행하는 데는 약 20 분이 걸리며 주위로 멋진 레스토랑과 상점, 번화한 도시 언덕을 지난다. 에스컬레이터는 오전 6시부 터 오전 10시까 지 내리막 길을 오르고, 오전 10 시부 터 자정까지 오르막으로 바뀌는데 아침에있는 많은 Mid-Level 주민들을위한 교통 연결 수단으로 사용되기 때문에, 아침 진입 시간이 끝난 9시 이후까지는 피하는 것이 좋다.

Mid Levels Escalator

The Central–Mid-Levels escalator and walkway system in Hong Kong is the longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world. The system covers over 800m in distance and traverses an elevation of over 135m from bottom to top. It opened in 1993 to provide an improved link between the Central and Mid-Levels districts on Hong Kong Island.
