2002년 FIFA 월드컵

축구 전용 경기장으로 2002년 FIFA 월드컵의 개최를 목적으로 건설되었으며 총 좌석수는 66,704석이다. 2012년에는 누적 관람객 1,000만명 시대를 열었으며 세계 10대 축구전용경기장으로 선정되었다.
