대모 거북

대모(玳瑁 / 瑇瑁, 학명 : Eretmochelys imbricata)는 바다거북과에 속하는 거북이다. 대모속의 1속 1종으로, 심각한 멸종 위기에 놓여 있다. 한국, 중국, 일본 등 동양국가에서는 玳瑁의 훈음을 쓰며, 영어 이름을 따라 매부리바다거북이라고 일컫기도 한다.
