소양강 처녀상

강원도 춘천시가 사업비 5억 5천만 원을 들여 춘천시 근화동 소양강변에 건립한 소양강 처녀상(높이 7ｍ) 한국인의 국민 애창곡으로 잘 알려진 <소양강 처녀> 노래와 소양강을 널리 알리기 위해 세워진 소양강 처녀 동상은 2005년 춘천시에서 직접 세운 높이 7M의 거대한 작품이다. 현대적인 감각의 동상과 맑고 깨끗한 소양강, 주변 자연 경관이 멋진 조화를 이루고 있다.

Statue of Soyanggang Maid

The 7 meter-tall, bronze statue of the Soyanggang Maid was dedicated by the City of Chuncheon in 2005 to promote the beloved Korean song, "Soyanggang Cheonyeo" (Soyanggang Maid) and the Soyanggang River. The modern statue strikes a balance with the Soyanggang River and its surrounding scenery.
