노무현 (1946-2009)

노무현은 대한민국의 제16대 대통령이다. 부산상업고등학교를 졸업하고 막노동에 뛰어들었다가 독학으로 1975년 4월 30세에 제17회 사법시험에 합격하였다. 대전지방법원 판사로 1년을 재직하다가 그만두고 부산에서 변호사 사무실을 개업하여 여러 인권 사건을 변호하였다. 통일민주당 총재 김영삼의 공천을 받아 제13대 총선에 출마하여 부산 동구에서 당선되며 5공비리특별위원으로 활동했다. 국민경선제에서 새천년민주당 소속으로 제16대 대선에서 대통령으로 당선되었으며 퇴임 후 고향 김해의 봉하마을로 귀향하였다.

Roh Moohyun (1946-2009)

Roh Moo-hyun was a South Korean politician who served as President of South Korea (2003–2008). Roh's pre-presidential political career was focused on human rights advocacy for student activists in South Korea. His electoral career later expanded to a focus on overcoming regionalism in South Korean politics, culminating in his election to the presidency. He achieved a large following among younger internet users, particularly at the website OhMyNews, which aided his success in the presidential election.
