라피스르깃

Lapis Legit은 처음 독일 식민지때 인도네시아에 소개되었다. 비록 독일인들에 의해 구상되었지만, 현재 네덜란드에서는 보기 힘들뿐만아니라, 오직 인도네시아에서만 볼수있게 되었다. 이 케이크를 만들기 위해서는 굉장한 노력과 기술 그리고 인내심이 필요하기 때문에 인도네시아인들은 그들 스스로 굉장한 자부심을 가지고 있다.

Lapis Legit

Lapis Legit is a type of Indonesian layer cake. It was developed during colonial times in the Dutch East Indies. The firm-textured cake is an Indo (Dutch-Indonesian) version of the European multi-layered spit cake. However it is not baked on a rotating spit, and contains a mix of Indonesian spices, such as cardamom, cinnamon, clove, mace and anise. The cake is made of flour and yolk and is rich in butter or margarine.
