류경호텔

류경호텔은 조선민주주의인민공화국의 수도 평양직할시 보통강구역에 건설되다가 무기한 중단된 호텔형 마천루이다. 평행사변형 꼴로 동서쪽으로 뻗어있는 특이한 모양으로 지어지고 있다. 현재 조선민주주의인민공화국에서 제일 높은 빌딩이다. '류경'은 '버드나무의 도시'라는 의미로 조선 시대에 평양에 버드나무가 많아 시원하고 아름다운 풍경을 만들었다는 이야기에서 비롯된 것으로, 지금도 평양의 별명 중 하나이다.

Ryugyong Hotel

The Ryugyong Hotel, or Yu-Kyung Hotel, is an unfinished 105-story, 330-metre-tall pyramid-shaped skyscraper in Pyongyang, North Korea. Its name is also one of the historical names for Pyongyang. The building is also known as the 105 Building, a reference to its number of floors. The building has been planned as a mixed-use development, which would include a hotel. The building is currently listed by Guinness World Records as being the tallest unoccupied building in the world.
