최후의 만찬 (마가복음)

그들이 음식을 먹고 있을 때에, 예수께서 빵을 들어 축복하시고 제자들에게 떼어 나눠주시며 "받아먹어라. 이것은 내 몸이다." 하고 말씀하셨다. 그리고 잔을 들어 감사의 기도를 올리신 다음 제자들에게 건네시자, 그들은 잔을 돌려가며 마셨다. 그 때에 예수께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "이것은 나의 피다. 많은 사람을 위하여 내가 흘리는 계약의 피다. 잘 들어두어라. 하느님 나라에서 새 포도주를 마실 그 날까지, 나는 결코 포도로 빚은 것을 마시지 않겠다." 그들은 찬미의 노래를 부르고 올리브 산으로 올라갔다.

Cenacle

The Cenacl is a room in Mount Zion in Jerusalem, just outside the Old City walls, traditionally held to be the site of the Last Supper, the final meal that, in the Gospel accounts, Jesus held with the apostles. According to the Christian Bible, the Cenacle was a place in which the apostles continued to gather after the Last Supper, and it was also the site where the Holy Spirit alighted upon the eleven apostles on Pentecost. The site is administered by the Israeli authorities, and is part of a building holding the so-called "David's Tomb" on its ground floor.
