인수대비 (소혜왕후,1437-1504)

한확의 딸로, 추존 왕 덕종의 아내이다. 세조의 맏며느리이자 월산대군과 성종의 어머니이다. 남편 의경세자가 아들 성종에 의해 의경왕으로 추존되자 인수왕비가 되었고, 이후 덕종으로 추존되자 인수왕대비로 존봉되었다. 이후, 성종의 뒤를 이어 손자 연산군이 즉위한 이후엔 자숙이라는 존호가 더해졌으나 최초에 받은 존호 그대로 인수대왕대비로 호칭되고 있다. 사후 연산군 때에 '소혜왕후'라는 시호를 받았다.

Queen Insu (1437-1504)

Queen Sohye of the Cheongju Han clan, was the only wife of Crown Prince Uigyeong. She never was the consort of a reigning king. Nevertheless, she was honored as Queen Insu and later as Queen Dowager Insu during the reign of her son Yi Hyeol, King Seongjong. Moreover, she was later honored as Grand Queen Dowager Insu during the reign of her grandson Yi Yung, Prince Yeonsan. After her death, she was posthumously honored with the title Queen Sohye.
