차이나타운

차이나타운 거리에 다다르면 누구라도 쉽게 알아차릴 수 있는 중국풍거리가 시야에 들어온다. 우뚝 솟은 패루를 지나 계속 경사진 길을 3백여 미터 걸으면 T자형으로 길이 양쪽으로 나뉘고 주변 상가는 온통 중국의 거리에 온 것처럼 느껴진다. 붉은색 간판과 홍등이 내걸리고, 음식점이나 진열된 상품들도 중국 일색이다. 이렇게 화려하게 단장하고 많은 사람들에게 볼거리와 먹거리를 제공해주는 이곳은 차이나타운이다.

China Town

As one approaches nearer to Chinatown Street, one is met with a Chinese street that anyone can reckon. Passing along the lofty Pailou and walking for about 300 meters up the slope, the street becomes divided into a T-shape. The surrounding shops make you feel that you are somewhere in China. The red signage and red lanterns hang out, and the restaurants and the displayed products are all in the Chinese style. This place is Chinatown – a place that is decorated magnificently and offers many entertainments and foods.
