공화춘

공화춘은 개항 이후 인천항을 통해 들어온 중국인이 지은 중국 요릿집이다. 중국 산동 지방의 장인이 참여하여 지은 중정형(中庭型)의 중국식 건물로, 현재 정면은 다양한 색깔의 타일로 마감하였고, 내부는 다양한 문양과 붉은 색을 사용하여 화려하게 장식하였다. 처음에는 무역상들에게 숙식을 제공하던 곳으로 이용되었다.

Gonghwachun

Gonghwachun is a Chinese restaurant started by a Chinese who came to Korea via Incheon Port after the harbor opening period. It is spatial type Chinese building, construction of which was overseen by a master from Shandong, China. The front part was made with various colored tiles, and the interior was vividly decorated with diverse patterns and red color.
