아무르표범

아무르표범은 심각한 멸종위기에 놓여있는 표범의 아종이다. 한반도, 러시아, 만주를 비롯한 극동지역에 한때 널리 분포했던 종이다. 대개 고산 지대의 산림 속에서 살며 높지 않은 바위 산에서는 바위 굴같은곳에 산다. 먹이는 사향노루, 고라니, 노루, 멧돼지, 멧토끼, 새 등을 잡아 먹으며, 먹이가 부족하면 꿩 등 야생 조류나 쥐 종류, 뱀 등도 먹는다.

Northeast Asian leopard

The Northeast Asian leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) is a leopard subspecies native to Northeast Asia, particularly the Primorye region of southeastern Russia, northern China (including Jilin Province), and the Korean peninsula. It is listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List. In 2007, only 19–26 wild leopards were estimated to survive in southeastern Russia and northeastern China.
