양관고성(陽關古城)

돈황시에서 남서쪽으로 70km 떨어진 곳에 위치하고 있는 한대에 만들어진 실크로드 길목으로 서역 남도(南道)의 입구이다. 많은 중국인들은 양관하면 당(唐)나라 시인 왕유(王維)가 남긴 “그대에게 한잔의 술을 권하니, 서쪽 양관으로 나가면 옛 벗이 있겠는가(勸君更進一杯酒, 西出陽關無故人)”라는 시구를 떠올린다. 양관은 이미 오래 전에 파괴되어 지금은 단지 붉은색 모래산 위에 양관의 눈과 귀의 역할을 했던 봉화대만 남아 있다. 봉화대의 높이는 4.7미터, 길이는 8미터이다. 양관 근처에는 남호(南湖)와 포도길이 있어 독특하면서도 이국적인 풍경을 즐길 수 있으며 이곳 민속 문화를 탐방할 수도 있다.
